General description and details: Very clean, looks and rides great! 10,660 Original Mileage. Metallic Deep Burgundy and chrome finish. 497cc Liquid cooled engine with shaft final drive; 5 speed transmission; Air adjustable front fork suspension; mono-shock ProLink air-suspension at rear; Locking ignition/steering, helmet locks, gas tank lock, saddlebag locks (all keyed alike); custom chrome engine guard with attached xenon fog/driving lights; passenger padded backrest; factory color matched hard saddlebags with lockable quick attach/detach function; detachable stainless coin holder; brand new battery; extras included. Additional notes: The condition is: Very good - Excellent for a 1982 (35 year old) bike; there are a few scuffs and blemishes on the chrome plated engine guard, as this guard was salvaged from a previous similar bike (a CX500 Deluxe) where that bike went down, luckily the strong engine guard protected it thus sustaining a scuff mark, barely visible within the entire look of the bike. The engine is basically an aluminum block and serves as an integral part of the bikes mail framing as well as the center of weight and gravity which balances the bike very well, considering the bike weighs in at 540 lbs, making it a great bike for the highway, very stable and perfect for long cruising. Frequently Asked Questions: Are There Any Mechanical Issues: No mechanical issues I can tell; the engine is liquid cooled with a shaft final drive; the engine runs smooth, starts up immediate when cold with the choke applied, etc. The instruments have a engine temp gauge for monitoring. New plugs, oil, filter, air cleaner. Carbs may be re-tuned if desired. Am I the Original Owner? I purchased the bike used in 1995, it had about 6,000 original miles, garage kept and well maintained. The title prefix is 4, I'm assuming that means I'm technically the fourth owner...again hard to believe its passed 4 hands with such minimal mileage. Why Am I Selling it? I haven't been using the bike much lately, other than periodic servicing and maintenance. Even when I was riding more frequently, I only used it on short trips and yearly police assisted Charity runs, etc. I figure the bike could use a good home and it can benefit someone else who plans on riding it regularly, or who's looking for a great vintage Honda bike which has features and technology way ahead if its time.
