This is a 1976 Honda CR250M. I bought it about five years ago when I was living in Mexico. I had it imported from California to my home in La Paz. Once I got it in my shop I took it apart and started cleaning. The restoration/refresh is detailed on my blog back in 2015. See: http://meditarivemachinery.blogspot.com/2015/. I was very careful about the purchase and paid very close attention to the condition of the wheels and the tank...that stuff is expensive and relatively rare. As you can see on my blog and in the pictures the handmade aluminium tank is almost perfect and the rims are perfect. I raced MX in the 70's and these things blew past me...I really needed to know if I was that slow or if the Hondas were that fast. It turns out the Hondas were/are that fast. I'm moving and I do not see myself racing this bike...ever! It is too fast for me. These days I do a lot more trials riding... I can hold the bike for a while...I have plenty of storage.
