It seems to be a solid bike that shouldnt need much to be your daily rider. The bike starts, runs and rides. The carbs were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt with new floats and new gaskets. Both accelerator pumps have been redone inside the carbs as well. The bike has one new petcock and a new battery. The tires and tubes are new. The bike really just needs to be dialed in. The carbs could use a good syncing. I would check the valves, change all fluids and give it a good going over prior to riding it. I have decided to build a garage this spring, so I need to clear some space and free up some cash to finance it. I have had this as a project for a bit and just dont see me getting to it anytime soon. Ive done most of the hard stuff, it just needs to be buttoned up. The pearl white paint shines well but does have chips and blemishes here and there. The knee pads have some residual glue that needs to be cleaned up. The only real issue I think may need addressing for sure is the steering head bearings seem notchy. So they will most likely need replacing. The front wheel may need to be balanced or possibly trued. It had a small hop the last time I rode it. Ive ridden the bike very little but it goes through the gears and seems to do everything ok. Ive just ridden it around the neighborhood and havent done any highway travelling or gotten it up to highway speeds. The gauges do work but the speedo isnt the smoothest one Ive ever seen. The tank is in good shape. Someone lined it some time ago, but it seems to be stable and good to go. The lights all seem to work. The seat cover is a bit stiff and the foam is starting to get a bit crusty. The chrome does have a few blemishes and some of it will clean up, so may not. I was going to dial it in and ride it around some this spring, but need to clear up the room. It will make a great bike. Ive tried to make note here of any and all issues that I am aware of. Most of them are minor , but I want to put everything out there so there are no surprises. The bike is being sold as is, where is.I do have an clear Tn title for the bike in my name.
