You are bidding on a 1964 Morris Minor 1000 Tourer convertible,a classic British collector sub-compact vintage automobile or unique rat rod The odometer shows 70,568 miles. VIN: MA2S51079866 This is a right hand drive 1964 Morris Minor 1000 Tourer convertible that was imported from the U.K. in 2008. The 1098 cc engine starts immediately and has new exhaust. It has good tires, a new electric fuel pump and a new battery. The car is drivable but, it will Need Brakes before it is ready for street use. There are no tears on the dark blue interior and the carpet is good. The convertible top has cuts from a cat's claw. A cover (for when the top is down) is included. The glove box door and cover that are on the dash are from a later year. Also included are wood covers for the glove boxes. The console and radio are not original equipment. It has new chrome sill plates under the doors, the original plates are included. The light blue paint is shinny with gray primer in some areas. The car is in good condition with little rust Some parts are missing. Enjoy it as is or restore it to new condition. I visited a recommended Morris Minor VIN identification web site and found that this is true. I have discovered that this conversion is popular in the U.K.. I even found a major Morris Minor "Dealership" / restoration shop that offer this service or a DYI kit. I inspected my Morris Minor convertible in this post and it appears to has all parts shown on the parts diagram. I am giving public notice that the previous owner did not tell about a conversion when I purchased this Morris Minor convertible and I had no knowledge of this fact when I posted this Morris Minor convertible on eBay.
