Vehicle Detail
Honda ST1100. Nice bike in very good condition. Lots of upgrades that include a Corbin seat with burgundy trim. Givi matching top case. Heli bars. Oversize front fairing with vent makes for a nice quiet ride. Stainless steel front brake and clutch lines. One HID headlight, the other remains a halogen. Angled tire valves. I have maintained the bike according to the manual, including valve clearance checks at 18k and 32k miles (all to spec). Triple tree greased at 32k. Oil (synthetic) and filter changes done at 5k intervals. Front and rear brake pads replaced at 25k mi. Spark plugs replaced on schedule, most recently at 32k. Battery is just over one year old, tires were replaced last year (5k miles ago) with Pirelli Angel GTs and they are great. Very neutral handling and the tread wear has been minimal. I have saddlebag inserts that come with the bike (one of them has a broken zipper), the owners manual, a service manual and a new set of Performance Carbon front brake pads (these are high end, the same pads I use on my race bike). The very faded tank bag is also included if you want it. I've had a question about the condition under the bike, so I've added some photos to show the side stand, exhaust and swingarm/underside of exhaust. The exhaust is stainless, so while there is a bit of corrosion on bolt heads and welds, it is nothing serious. I've shown the rear axle/swingarm, a known place to watch for corrosion. I grease this with each tire change and it looks good to me. I added an interior photo of the left saddlebag. There is a fiberglass repair on the inside of the right saddlebag to fix a crack from a tip over. There is also a small ding in the right side "winglet" due to the same tip over. You can see it in the photo of the right side fairing.
