This is actually a 1985, but for some reason Ebay listing won't take the VIN number. The VIN is W09526219FSB09219. It is on a PNO ( planned non operation)Selling this 1985 Bitter SC 3.9 Breaks my heart to sell. This car is ultra rare & I'll probably never see one again. My main concern is that it goes to a good home. Someone that will bring it back to it's former glory. I bought this stunning luxury sports coupe around 5 years ago for $22K. I drove it from the San Francisco Bay Area to Lake Tahoe & to the Concourse De' Elegance in Carmel. The car drove magnificently. It took it out for a drive 3 years ago & it had smoke coming from the engine bay & died. My mechanic thought it was a valve cover gasket & replaced it, but could not get it to start. The car has been sitting in my driveway for the last 3 years & is collecting dents ( my wife bumped it once, my gardener once & my son twice!) & is also starting to get surface rust. As I said I hate to sell this beautiful vehicle, but don't have the time to devote to it & don't want to see it get slowly destroyed in my driveway. The body is all steel & is the same body as the Ferrari 400i. Comes from the same factory in Italy. The car is actually German and much of the parts are Opal & GM. It will need to have the engine work sorted out, paint & some interior, (needs headliner) Someone Please rescue this super rare classic! Will add more photos later.
