Vehicle Detail

You are looking at an exceptional 29,033 original mile, rust-free, non-smoker P71 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with factory upgraded interior and cruise control. My son-in-law purchased the Crown Victoria from the Federal Government in 2012 with 23,178 original miles. It had previously been the Prison Warden’s car at Terminal Island Federal Correctional Institution in San Pedro, California. My son-in law used it sparingly for 5 years and I purchased it from him last year. The only reason I’m selling it is I have health issues and purchased another “Bucket List” Corvette. The car has been meticulously maintained and everything works, I would have no hesitation driving it across the Country on a moments notice. BODY AND PAINT: The car wears most of its original Vibrant White paint and doesn’t appear to have ever been involved in a collision or sustained any frame damage. There’s a small door ding on the RF door, the RR quarter panel has a scrape that has been touched up (pictured). The rear bumper also has some flaws (pictured). There’s minor paint peeling on both sides near the rear window (pictured). The car had factory antennas holes in the roof or trunk lid. My son-in-law had the headliner removed and a proper rubber plug installed from Steele Rubber Products. He found a replacement factory white LX trunk lid that has one small ding (pictured) opposed to fixing the original trunk lid. Overall, the paint and body are in very nice condition. INTERIOR: The Blue Cloth interior is in exceptional condition with no funky odors and has never been smoked in and was recently detailed. The headliner, carpets and door panels are all in excellent condition. The P71 package dome light in the headliner works but is missing the lens. My son-in-law had a new factory Ford CD player installed in 2012. MECHANICAL and TIRES: The 4.6 runs like an absolute watch! If you’ve never driven a Police Interceptor they’re very competent and an absolute blast to drive. In our ownership the oil has been changed more frequently than 3,000 miles due to time. The transmission had a pan-off service at 23,000 miles and received a clean bill of health. It had the fuel pump replaced in early 2017 and had new Toyo tires installed at Les Schwab last month (they have approximately 200 miles). Overall, the Crown Victoria has been extensively maintained, serviced and runs and drives beautifully. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a low mileage, rust-free Crown Victoria that will be a tremendous value for the end user. The majority of Crown Victoria P71’s on the market have been ridden hard and reconditioned for resale. This is a beautiful original car that has a clear title in my name. PayPal deposit in the amount of $200 is due with-in 24 hours; the balance is due with-in 3 days of the auction closing in the form of a wire transfer or cash in person. I will assist with shipping and storage up to 30 days. There isn’t a “buy it now” price and the Crown Victoria will be sold to high bidder at the conclusion of the auction. Thanks!
