You are bidding on a very solid/hard to find 1966 Chevrolet C10 short wheel base fleetside pickup truck, This truck was found sitting under the original owners carport in a small Mississippi town and finally purchased from his widow after many years of stopping by and inquiring about it, I have owned many of these trucks and this is by far one of the best with it's clean straight solid body, frame and undercarriage, 95% rust-free with some rust through in the front dogleg of each door bottom and very little on the lower edge of the hood easily repairable, Adult owned and driven since new, All original 6 cylinder engine which I believe is the 250ci version, 3 speed manual transmission w/column shift, Runs, drives and stops fine, 2 owner truck purchased brandnew in Amory Mississippi in late 1965 and has remained in the area ever since, Solid straight southern body never subjected to salty roads or climates, Patina looking Brigade blue paint with a Cameo white painted roof which is the factory 2 tone paint colors (Color code 537AD), Recent new parts include all new glass and new vent window frames, 2 new front and rear chrome bumpers and grill, 2 new chrome rockerpanel/sill plates, New 6 lug 20 inch polished "Vision legend series" wheels and 275/40/ZR20 tires which can easily be changed back to the original/stock/Grandpaw look if that is what you prefer, The original type wheels are 6 lug as well and can be purchased from LMC truck parts and accessories along with the correct/vintage hubcaps, Beautiful new wood bed and metal strips, Clean interior w/new seatcover, New chrome side mirrors and new door handles, Also recent brakes, shocks, and front-end alignment, Ready to cruise to your local car show or cruise-in, This truck starts conversations and turns heads everywhere it goes, People simply love it, Great truck to enjoy as is or take it to the next level, LS engine swap?
