Up for sale is my personally owned 2002 Suburban “Tank” vehicle that runs incredibly and will last for at least another 200,000 miles for the new owner. I have owned this vehicle for over 1 year and the previous owner was a mechanic that fastidiously maintained this vehicle for optimal performance at all times. The engine was rebuilt by him at 190,000 miles and now has approximately 43,000 miles on it and the transmission was done by me when it began to slip, approximately 4 months ago, and was rebuilt by a New Haven Transmission Shop, Called Budget Transmissions, for $2100.00 and it still has about 8 months warranty left and the balance of warranty can be transferred to the new owner and all that paperwork will be transferred to the new owner. The transmission goes through all the gears perfectly and all four wheel and all wheel switchable drives work flawlessly and the rebuild has less than 1400 miles on it! The body of the vehicle has approximately 238,500 miles on it, but looks very good for its age. I have also maintained this vehicle as it was used to transport a 400 Lb trailer sign for my Advertising and Marketing Business and the only reason I am selling this vehicle is that the assignment ended, or I would still put this ultra-reliable vehicle into some kind of service as the truck is a tank, and the engine is “bullet proof” and I am confident that this SUV can go to California and back 10 times with basic maintenance. As far as the other mechanics go, the power train is exceptional with tremendous power and V8 acceleration, the front end is solid, and the front brakes and rotors are brand new with less than 1000 miles on them. The Climate Controls and windows seat adjusters and all radio and lights and glass are in perfect working condition. The interior is quite clean, with only a small side rip on the driver’s seat and the leather could use a good detail but will come up beautifully when detailed and will shine through. The exterior of the vehicle shows well for its age and year, and there are several small scratches along the vehicle, and one fist size dent on the upper passenger quarter panel, but the paint is very clean and again with a good detail will shine very well. There are small areas as pictures with minimal rust development in the lower rocker area on the driver side and very very minimal on the passenger side and almost nonexistent. The tires and rims as pictures will not come with the vehicle, and there will base Suburban Tires as pictures included with 20% tire tread left on these tires. If the Sport Rims are desired the price will be $450.00 in addition to the winning bid or accepted offer. The undercarriage of the truck is free from all rust and the exhaust is nearly new. The car leaks nothing and rides and performs admirably and will make the new owner proud and can be put into service immediately and needs nothing. Turn the key and drive her away! This car has a clean NY State Title. Once the offer or auction has been determined a small Non Refundable deposit can be paypaled for $100.00 within 24 hours of the auction conclusion and the balance needs to be paid by Certified Check, Bank Check, or Bank Wire within Three Days.
