2001 Chevrolet Impala Police Car – This vehicle was purchased new by the Bristol Indiana police department and used as an unmarked police vehicle until September 2008. It was then transferred to the town water department and used for local use only.The vehicle is equipped with a backup starting system (battery buddy) that can be seen in the photograph of the engine. The full wiring harness is still intact for police wiring and does cause some battery issues with starting the vehicle at times. The paint on the roof of the vehicle is peeling, please see the photographs. There is minor damage to the driver front bumper and headlight assembly, noted in the photographs. The exterior does have cosmetic paint scratches and wear with no major dents.The vehicle is being sold “as is” with no warranty. The vehicle is in running condition and can be driven from our location after the sale is complete. The winning bidder must pay by a certified cashier’s check the full amount of the sale price within 3 days or the vehicle will be relisted. The winning bidder must pick up the vehicle located in Bristol Indiana Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The vehicle can be inspected at this location during the hours of business by appointment only.
