The idea behind this bike was to be fun and high in attitude hence the stance, exhaust, and even name. If you are looking for a well sorted fun custom CX500 that won't cost you an arm and a leg be sure to jump on this one while you can.Mechanically this bike has been converted to a monoshock rear with custom fabricated mounts as well as seat subframe. Up front there is a Yamaha R6 fork and triple setup, new clip on bars, and a new headlight. Big brakes from the R6 forks make sure you stop on a dime and still have 5 cents to spare. The engine has had the valves adjusted, new spark plugs, carbs cleaned and synchronized as well as jetted to perfection. Engine and shaft drive oil were just changed as well. Exhaust is custom made using the factory primary sections into a slick straight pipe setup that crosses under the bike. It sounds rowdy! This bike freight trains for a CX500 and runs great at all RPMs. The wiring is cleanly tucked away after being simplified to remove turn signals and some starter overrides. The bike also has a new lithium battery tucked under the bike in a custom tray.This bike is a lot of fun and could be just the ticket if you are looking to get ready for riding season which is right around the corner!
