I have wonderful 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo to sell out of my private collection. This car was a one owner car purchased at crescent Chevrolet here in Des Moines Iowa. The original owner passed away in Desember of 2016 at the young age of 91. The car was willed to her mechanic who had taken care of the vehicle for 25 years but as you might not quite understand he did not want it? I have seen this car off and on at the garage for years and and as he said he immediately thought of me when he received the car from the estate I also use this garage and mechanic. So we struck a deal in March and I had the car all serviced 15x8 corvette rally wheels installed w bf Goodrich tires. The car comes with service records dating back to 1995 also original bill of sale and owners manual and epa gas mileage paperwork. The jack instructions in trunk are original all jack spare and original bias ply spare is in there. I also included the original hubcaps I took off. The car has been painted due to some right rear quarter damage and I am sure some rust spot issues because the body molding down the side has been removed. We had the car color sanded and buffed out and the paint looks really nice some chips are touched up. Car was under coated under wheels and around rear bumper frame . The car runs and drives like a 70k mile car should .The original 4 barrel works great the catalytic converter is still on the car. So emissions are good but here in Iowa we do not have emission testing. This is a great car but we have our eye on a bandit trans am for our 27th wedding anniversary present. So I have to start thinning out the collection and since I have had some of the other cars 10 plus years this one was the easiest. Now for the Bad Points I did not get finished The drivers seat as you can see in picture has wear spots from getting in and out. There is a rip on passengers seat side as seen in picture also. The vinyl top appears to be original it has some fading and deterioration around quarter windows also in picture. Last issue rear bumper has a rust spot and the backing of bumper is rusted very common in Iowa the water just gets trapped in there also in picture. I try and represent my cars fairly I have drove hours to pic up something and have it not be as described. This is a very solid survivor car that runs and drives flawless.This is a car you can drive home if you choose or I will help get it to any shipping spot you need here locally.
