1968 Mustang Coupe. The car has approximately 16,800 miles on rebuilt engine and trans. The engine is a fuel injected 302 from 1994 and built with forged pistons and other performance parts. The auto-trans is built heavy duty with shift kit, a three speed with a fourth gear overdrive. Car has standard power disk brakes in front and drums in rear. Has power steering. Turn signals in the hood. Nearly all mechanical parts were either replace or rebuilt while the engine build was taking place. Much of the interior, carpet, seats, head liner, hardware, has been updated. The one item left to update would be the dash. There is an updated gauge cluster / instrument bezel with the following gauges. On top, Temperature, Fuel, and Oil Pressure. The two large gauges are Speedometer and Tachometer. This car cruises at very low RPM's. At 70 MPH the tack reads less than 2100 in overdrive. This allows the car to get about 25 PMG on the highway. It has solid power and can break the rear wheels loose if too much power is applied. Larger tires could mitigate this, but I wanted to keep the exterior original. The rims are 15 inch.
