1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone Badging and molding added Frame on Restoration. {Done 4 Years Ago} Clean Solid Original Comet Caliente Florida Car No Panels were replaced except for the Functional Ram Air Fiberglass Hood .Factory red in color Media Blasted, then body worked panel to panel then Painted Black, color sanded, for a show car finish . the body is super straight and the paint looks very deep and awesome ,trunk is also solid with no rust and has new matt and Spare Tire, and trunk light added , Floors are also factory and with no issues.. Engine original 289 completely rebuilt , added mild cam and roller rockers ,650 cfm single pump dual feed carb from summit ,Edelbrock intake , Headers ,Chrome engine brace, Aluminum valve covers and breathers, outside fuel pressure gauge, ,Chrome 6qt oil pan ,new spark plug wires new Electronic Distributor with super Coil ,added external fuse box under the hood for accessories . new aluminum 3 Core radiator with electric fans and flex fan, New Starter ,Battery and sending unit ,new ac condenser and ac pump ,polished over flow bottle and Manuel steering .Engine compartment light and prop rod were added Bright work ie all molding ,stainless / Chrome Emblems ,Wheel Opening Moldings and all Interior chrome and stainless ect at new old stock or new and all highly polished Glass Glass is in Perfect shape and tinted 30% Weatherstripping was All Replaced Undercarriage ball joints ,tie rod ends, Stabilizer links ,front and rear springs front coil over shocks and rear air shocks along with chrome traction Bars are all new Duel exhaust with Flow master Mufflers and nice tips Rear End Ford 9 inch complete rear end Gone thru, all seals and bearings replaced , cleaned and painted highway gear Brakes Manuel Drum brakes on all 4 corners Have been rebuilt or replaced along with brake lines and Master cyl Transmission Newer 5 speed Top Loader Transmission with Flywheel, clutch, Pressure Plate and Bearing all Hardware and springs have been replaced Interior Completely Redone White/black interior with split bench seat and rear seat AM/FM CD Radio Mounted in Glove Box Functional Under Dash 8 track Player After Market under dash Gauges ,ie Water, amp, oil Underdash air conditioning Lights ,turn signals .Dash Tach, Wipers ect are all working as they should Dash pad and gauges like new Tires And Wheels New 17 inch Torque thrust WheelsFront Tires p215 50r 17Rear Tires p225 50r 17\ I'm sure there is lots that I have forgotten, there has been a lot of money and love put into this car to built this awesome show car ,but don't have time to drive it so need to pass the torch to another ford/mercury lover that can drive and enjoy it as it was built for..any questions please call Gene at 708-670-8024On Jan-23-18 at 16:27:16 PST, seller added the following information:
