You are viewing a gorgeous, low-mileage, absolutely beautiful 2004 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Extended-Cab Pickup. This was the last year for the Original Toyota Tacoma which was, arguably, the best small truck ever produced in the world. Recently purchased in dry, eastern Oregon, where rust does not exist, where it spent nearly it's entire life...and, with only 49,454 actual, documented miles on it (it may have a few more miles on it at time of sale, as it was driven for a week or so after photographing it, and we then drove it to storage in Northern Kentucky to keep it out of inclement weather several weeks ago). This truck was NEVER used as a work truck. This is a beautiful example of a very rare and very hard to find truck. It is absolutely, and spotlessly, rust and corrosion-free. The previous owner was older, and barely used it. The AutoCheck and Carfax reports are absolutely flawless. This truck has never had any damage, nor has it had any paintwork. It is as unmolested as they come. I bought this truck for myself and had it shipped from out west this past summer, but I cannot bring myself to drive this truck in winter weather, it's just too nice...so I am, reluctantly, listing it for sale as I have several other vehicles. This is an extremely low mileage example that is, likely, the nicest 2004 Tacoma you will find for sale...anywhere. It has NEVER seen salt in it's entire life. The underside, frame, and under the hood, are spotless and corrosion-free. Look closely at the pictures, especially under the hood, they are worth a thousand words. These trucks go for hundreds of thousands of miles but, if you are reading this, you already know that. If you have been waiting for an absolutely gorgeous, unmolested example of the most iconic small truck of all time...this is it. It is absolutely the nicest I have ever seen. This is one for the discerning buyer. It is as close to "flawless" as you will find, short of having purchased one brand-new. If you have been waiting, don't wait any longer. This is one of the last few in existence with this low of miles and, it is the last, and in my opinion the best, year for this generation Tacoma. They do not get any better, or nicer, than this. This truck has all of the options you would expect, including the SR5 Package, 2.4 Liter 4-Cylinder Engine, 4-Speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission, Ice Cold Air-Conditioning, Cruise Control, AM/FM/CD/Cassette Stereo, Three Power Outlets, Three Cup Holders, Console, Fully-Reclining Cloth Bucket Seats, Cloth Rear Fold-Down Seats, Factory Carpeting (that is flawless), Carpeted Floor Mats, Factory Bedliner, Chrome Bumpers, Rear Step Bumper, Sliding Rear Window, and an added, matching, factory-painted fiberglass cap with locking rear window. These items, of course, are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this truck. In my years of buying and selling collectible and low-mileage specialty vehicles, I have had very few that come close to the condition of this truck. It has been extremely well maintained, actually over-maintained, and needs no repairs. It has little to no wear, anywhere, including the seating. It is doubtful that anyone has ever sat in the back seat, the interior is absolutely mint. It is finished in Super White Clearcoat with Charcoal Gray interior. With only 49,454 actual, original miles on it, the interior shows nearly zero wear and still smells new inside. It has been extremely well-maintained and it runs, drives and handles as close to new as you will ever find. It has never been abused and it looks as close to new as you could ever expect. I have used this truck as an occasional highway commuter over the last few summer and fall months and have changed the oil, using Genuine Toyota Filters (with the patented silicone anti-drainback valve), three times in approximately 8,000 miles. I will include, at no additional cost, the remaining new filters I purchased (I purchased a case directly from Toyota). The bed compartment is extremely clean and was never used to haul much, if anything. The tires are like new, and just recently replaced. The factory, carpeted floor mats are the only item that show any dirt or wear. It is minor, and they can be purchased new, but I wanted to point out that they are slightly stained. It has a few minor rock chips, tiny scratches and minute flaws, but nothing that would really even show up in a picture. I hesitate to use the word "mint", but it is, truly, as close as you can get. Tacomas like this one are nearly extinct, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for one of the nicest ones you will ever find with low mileage and in near-perfect condition. This truck is in absolutely excellent condition inside and out and is very clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is beautiful (please see the pictures). I do not slather motors with Armor All to make them appear nicer, or newer, than they are. The picture of this engine compartment is exactly as it was when the truck was purchased...extremely clean. These are the Tacomas aficionados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It runs and drives excellent, is smooth-shifting and, of course, gets great fuel mileage. This truck is in absolutely gorgeous overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used truck. This vehicle, as most used vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; minor scratches, chips, nicks, dings, etc...that being said, this truck has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives excellent. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used vehicles possible, but they are still used vehicles. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, 2004 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE LIKE THIS IN THE NEAR FUTURE WITH THIS LOW OF MILEAGE, IF AT ALL, IN THIS CONDITION. As with all of our auctions, this 2004 Toyota Tacoma will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, providing the low reserve price is met.
