Here is a good, straight running Spitfire Mk II. The engine shows 47068 on the clock however the previous owner stated that this is a like new rebuilt engine that has less than 500 miles on it. I was not able to verify that however it starts and purrs like a kitten. It has a four-speed transmission that shifts perfectly but the clutch needs attention (leaks). All the gauges work (speedometer is not hooked up). Windshield wipers work and most of the lights work. Brakes are good and it has one new tire (the other three are weather cracked with good tread). I have replaced the bumper with a Mk III bumper and the bumper guards are missing (I have the Mk III guards). The front lip of the bonnet has some minor body putty at the nose. All the rest of the car shows no physical damage. It looks like the trunk had a rust spot in the lower right hand corner as there is some body putty there also. Rockers are good but a purist would want to replace them.
