This CBX maybe the most "Original Condition" CBX to appear on Ebay or anywhere ever. It is one from my personal collection. I purchased this CBX from a Gentleman that made the point that he never had to take a wrench to this bike. He said he had only performed the required maintenance since new. I looked it over very carefully and came to the conclusion he maybe right. I found little evidence that someone had taken a wrench to this treasure. It is hard to believe. but you can look it over. Zoom in all you can and decide. The oil drain plug has some wear and tear, Thank God for that. So here we are. Everything on this CBX functions as a new bike. Tires are great, original paint is absolutely stunning at 36 yrs old, and the amp gauge works great. The exhaust is an improvement in looks performance and sound.The bike starts on the first touch of the starter cold or hot. Does not need carb cleaning. It was ridden every year and has never been stored for any length of time. The bike is from Victoria, Canada where the winter weather is mild and easy on vintage stuff. The speedo is in Kilometers, which translates to 18,000 miles. It needs nothing, but continued TLC and a good ride once and a while. That's the key to a great car or bike, If you ride it you clean and shine it. This bike will win hands down any show you take it to in the survivor category.This CBX has not been repainted, re-chromed, the nuts and bolts were not re-plated., and the bike has never been " touched up". The paint on the lower forks look like they had inspection stickers applied and removed over the years. I don't need to discuss the "original condition" claim, collectors all know tires, battery, hand grips, and yes even yellow spark plug wires may not be original to some. Bald tires, and frozen brakes, , rusted up tanks,worn out chain, leaky forks, ect is your normal original condition. I will make sure that the shipper loads it with extra care and will oversee the whole process. This special and RARE CBX is not a fixer-upper, The NADA motorcycle book, has this bike in excellent condition and has a 14,000 value placed on it.
