Vehicle Detail
This is a nice southern, all original and well maintained vehicle. The truck has been adult owned and taken care of over the last three decades. It has been garage kept and was not abused. The truck has all power options offered on the Silverado package from 1987. Very dependable truck that can be used daily, stored or made to meet your desires. The best part about this truck is that is original so you can modify or customize it the way you want. Truck has a fuel injected 350 cubic inch V8 and a 700r4 Transmission with overdrive. Transfer case and 4 wheel drive system works excellent, though hardly ever used in North Carolina. Has new 32x11.50'' tires mounted on the stock Rally Wheels. Interior has brand new carpet, door panels, headliner and seat. The dash is in good condition with one small crack (about 1" long). The body is in good shape, but does have some imperfections. It has never been redone so it shows the last 30 years on the bottom half with some light surface rust near the cab corner on the driver side, above the windshield and above the rear window (near the seals). There is some filler in the passenger side cab corner (pictured). The bed is in excellent shape, but Rhino Lining would be the way to go in order to keep it that way. Bottom line is this is an all original square body with many years left on her. Would make an excellent truck for someone wanting that blank canvas with great bones from which to start. Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for video or additional pictures. The vehicle will be set as an auction with a reserve. I will not disclose the reserve price as it detracts from the purpose of an auction. I will say it is set at exactly what I have in the truck. Good luck, Happy New Year and thanks again. On Jan-01-18 at 13:40:21 PST, seller added the following information: Hope everyone is having a good New Year! Wanted to take a moment to update a couple details that were forgotten in the initial write up. 1. Initially the reserve was set at what I have in the truck, however I lowered it yesterday and it was met today. So congrats to the high bidder and with the reserve now off someone will get an awesome truck. Personally I'd do a 4" lift with 33s but to each his own...Rough Country makes some awesome kits that I have used on Square Body Trucks in the past. 2. The truck just passed a State Safety Inspection in December 3. The Starter and Flex Plate are brand new. Starts right away with no gas pedal manipulation unlike the old carb models that I used to pump the $h*t out of when it was cold. Look forward to seeing who is going to start 2018 with a sweet 87'. Good luck and as always let me know if you have any questions. Y'all take care.On Jan-01-18 at 14:12:49 PST, seller added the following information: I can be reached at nine 1 zero 7 two three 4 one nine four. On Jan-03-18 at 15:22:21 PST, seller added the following information: Have gotten a couple questions about shipping so I wanted to take a moment to address it for all to see. The truck can be picked up or I will help in any reasonable way to have it shipped to you. As an example, I sold a vehicle one time on here and met the coordinated shipper at a nearby Food Lion so he could load it up on a full size/commercial car hauler that was running local dealership cars. I can't speak for the prices to ship because they vary depending on who you use and what platform they are running. I do know you can often coordinate with shippers who are already running this region (like the example above) and it will save money to fill their truck instead of lining up a separate pick up or hotshot company. Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone for the interest and the bids. It looks like I will not get what I have in her, but Fort Bragg has shut down for the rarest of NC snow storms so all is not lost! Good luck as we draw to a close on this sweet square body!
