Hello. I am listing a 85 Chevy Short wide box 2 wheel drive truck. I am listing this pick up as a running project truck. It is extremely straight with no rust at all that I can see. It has a few dings and a small dent around the passenger gas tank door shown in the pictures. I got this truck as part trade for another car I sold a couple of years ago. You know the old story, I have too many cars and not enough time to finish them all. It drives runs and stops. Looks to be lowered right with lowering springs and rides like a lowered chevy truck of this year. Looks like it has an older restoration at one point or it was well taken care of. It has the 350 with turbo 400 with shift kit and 10 bolt rear end. Previous owner converted to a holley tbi unit, which runs great most of the time but at times it will run too rich at idle. Sometimes it will surge at idle and die you have to drive with one foot on the gas and the other one on the brake.I really believe the throttle body is too big for this engine causing it to run like a dog at times. I honestly never got really into fixing it cause I was going to drop a big block into it.A simple carb swap and old school HEI dist. swap would make this a reliable daily driver. For this reason I am selling as a running project truck.It probably would not take much to make this into a reliable daily driver or weekend cruiser. I have used this as a daily driver around town, I just got use to the personality of this truck. I don't feel it is ready for long distance driver or cross country without some tweaking. I personally would not chance it. Someone installed the hydro boost brake that works great. The interior was redone at some point. Looks great. The power windows and door locks all work too. Has factory saddle tanks which all work as well. Aftermarket radio was installed at some point and works great. CD player with some decent speakers. The turbo 400 was rebuilt prior to me getting this truck but I have no paper work to prove this. I l now I am leaving out a lot of details Any questions at all please let me know.I have more pictures upon request. Located near Tacoma WA.
