1996 Chevy Suburban. 5.7 350 Vortec V8. Automatic. 230,xxx on Odometer which is closer to 170,xxx, transmission never had speedo gear changed and is roughly 12mph off. Lifted 6" the right way. Full RCD lift kit, drop spindles, stainless break lines, stainless torsion bars. Rear has been upgraded to a 14 Bolt Corporal Semi Floater. 4:11 gears front and back. K3500 Rear springs. 35" Tires where replaced 3000 miles and retain excellent tread. Engine runs smooth and quiet, holds very good oil pressure. The Vortec 350 was trully one of the best small blocks ever built, and if you've ever owned one I don't have to tell you that higher mileage is of no concern on these engines. In the past 4 weeks, this truck has received close to $1200.00 in parts, not including hours and hours of labor. It is by no means perfect, but you will not find a more solid lifted truck for the money. The following is new: -New Fuel Pump (Delphi)-New Sending Unit (Spectre) -New Fuel Filter-New Plugs (Delco Iridium) -New Wires-New Cap-New Rotor-Re-manufactured Mass Air Flow Sensor (Lifetime warranted) -New Optima Redtop Battery-New Temperature Sensor-New Rotors-New Pads (Ceramic) -New Calipers-New CV Axles Left & Right-New Moog Upper Balljoints-New Rear Taillights (Left and Rear)-New Inner & Outter Tie Rod Ends (All Moog!)-Alignment Done-Oil & Filter Changed (High Mileage 10W30 & K&N Filter) -New Taillights To be perfect, it will need a set of Sway Bar End links (From RCD) The front end was wire wheeled, and painted with VH chassis protector. The wheels where not in the greatest shape (Chrome Peeling) so we cleaned them, and painted them with Plasti-dip. Overall presentation looks good. Transmission is a 4l60E and is a re-manufactured northstar unit with 6,XXX miles on it. Interior is really dirty and could use a good cleaning, carpet is pretty nasty from previous owner...who had kids, and trashed it up. I would personally remove the seats and steam clean the entire carpet/seats. Does have 3rd row seating. There is one small spot of rot by the tailpipe that is an easy fix for anyone mechanically inclined, I have a parts Suburban here and will happily plasma cut the piece off the other one for you. I have not tried to AC. It will need a Radio. It already has a head unit installed, the previous owner apparently got Mumford & Sons stuck in it and his wife tried to remove it...with a screwdriver, needles to say she broke the faceplate off and it will need to be replaced. The ABS light is currently on for the drivers side wheel sensor,the previous owner didn't put an extended cable on it so it stretched over time and snapped, very easy cheap fix. The underside of this truck is in excellent shape, no heavy scale rust or rot. Has class 3 trailer hitch and is wired for electric brake controller. One of the actuators in the heater box needs to be replaced, heat still works and cab gets hot. An entire replacement box will be included. I put allot of love into this truck for my wife to drive for a family machine, and of course, after it was done, shes to uncomfortable to drive it because of the lift.
