Vehicle Detail
1968 Triumph 250cc TR25W Trophy Original low mileage motorcycle with only 2,014 miles showing on the odometer. Purchased in 2012 for my son, the motorcycle was never ridden, and has remained in dry storage since. Prior to storage everything on the motorcycle worked (lights, horn, gauge and odometer) and it started easily and shifted appropriately through all gears. Please note that the fuel was drained prior to storage to preserve the tank. Again, the motorcycle has not been started or ridden since 2012. Much like every British motorcycle it does leak a bit of oil and gearbox fluid. Cosmetically the motorcycle is an 8+ (paint, chrome, seat, etc.). This said, there are a few minor scuffs here and there. Overall, it is a first-rate looking Triumph. Upgrades by prior owner included tires, battery, electric ignition, plugs and wires, rebuilt carb, new exhaust, new fuel lines and velocity stack. After we purchased the motorcycle an additional $900 worth of service/maintenance was performed (receipts available). The motorcycle comes with a clear title (signed over by last owner but never transferred to our home state of Oklahoma). Also includes two ignition keys, as well as, and extra solo style seat. Deposit must be received within 24 hours of purchase, and balance within 7 days. Payment options include cashier’s check or PayPal only. Individuals paying via PayPal must cover all fees associated with the PayPal transaction. Purchaser is responsible for arranging transport and paying for all packaging and shipping fees. The motorcycle is being sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied. I have described the motorcycle to the best of my ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to ask questions or request additional information. Moreover, interested parties are welcome to inspect the motorcycle in person, or have a third-party inspection performed. Lastly, the motorcycle is advertised locally, and I have the right to cancel the eBay auction at any time.
