I WILL ADD MORE PICTURES AND VIDEOS...ENJOY Jeep recovery team fans, I mean Land Cruiser fans today is your day because i am utterly thrilled to offer for a sale this BEAUTIFUL and what is becoming SUPER RARE model, serviced, clean Carfax,one owner 1997 40TH EDITION Land Cruiser! It has been very well cared for and drives like a dream and looks absolutely stunning in Dark Emerald Pearl over tan Leather! Background: This gorgeous FJ80 was produced for the 1997 model year with DIFF LOCK as a send off celebration for the true 4WD. This was FJ at its best: comfortable, luxurious and capable while ready for any adventure on or off-road! This FJ has been thoughtfully and thoroughly serviced over 5-6 months ago . Its all started with a simple tune up like, changing spark plugs, thermostat etc.. but i ended up removing the top engine redoing the head with a brand new head gasket AND completer rebuild TRANSMISSION (not the truck needed it), spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel injectors, water pump, fan clutch, belts, brand new radiator, and much more. The original plan was to get the truck shipped out to eastern part of Africa for a long time missionary couple to serve to the remote part of the country, but the plan had changed dramatically due to political change! Engine and drivetrain:This engine had average miles for the year with 194,680 miles appear on the odometer. It showed no signs of distress, head gasket issues, overheating, knocking or oil pressure issues. But it was part of my effort to have her last for many more years. There has been A TON of scheduled and preventive maintenance performed to this truck to keep the engine in near brand new condition. The motor is very healthy and has loads of smooth power! It rides so smooth and a happy TOYOTA will go and go and go happily for hundreds of thousands of miles. -ENGINE This truck received BRAND NEW OEM head gaskets and OEM head bolts, torqued not only in the correct manner from the factory, but marked as a single visual reference point and then double checked by using a Snap-On digital torque wrench which reads angles in which bolts have been turned to ensure all the bolts have gone the proper amount of degrees. The cylinder heads were machined, cleaned, decked and pressure checked! The engine then received BRAND NEW valve cover gaskets, and seals, front cover gasket, OEM oil pan gasket, upper and lower exhaust manifold gaskets and upper intake gaskets, rear main seal, front crank seal, among a few other minor seals. These were done in order to keep with the same high regard and care. The upper and lower intakes, valve covers and front cover were thoroughly cleaned. Tedious job for such a small detail, but it had to be done! I clean the engine bay by hand, to make sure it presented as nice as the engine. Take a nice look at the engine bay, clean throughout! Oil lines have been re-o-ringed and cleaned. This service was done within 700-1000 miles. Upon completion I purposely planned to drive to NV to break the engine in for it it was part of this truck's ongoing care. -COOLING SYSTEM BRAND NEW radiator, water pump, thermostat -IGNITION SYSTEM and STARTING SYSTEM BRAND NEW OEM distributor cap and OEM rotor. BRAND NEW OEM plugs and spark plug wires. The distributor had the air gap adjusted and timing is spot on. Distributor was cleaned and painted. -BATTERYInterstate -AIR FILTERBRAND NEW -TRANSMISSIONThe trans was completely rebuild and given BRAND NEW filter and fluid and shifts like a brand new truck and super smooth! -4WD SYSTEM4WD Low and High both work great! -DIFF LOCK WORKS like it suppose to ( never been used) you will be the first person Let's continue to the exterior: -PAINTThe paint is gorgeous! It is a 9- out of 10. Shiny, beautiful paint I recently polished, finished, waxed and sealed. NO ACCIDENTS! CLEAN CARFAX. NO STORIES. The paint is deep and has a wonderful luster! a few chip from normal use ! There were some stone chips which appeared here and there, fear not! otherwise remarkable body the original paint is in VERY good job shape. There are a few very minor inclusions: a couple chips on the edges of the doors (can not see unless you have your eyes RIGHT on it from 6 inches away). A small ding (see pics), only seen in some angles and a few very small dings and scratches that again need to been seen only at certain angles and very up close. There was a minor touch up of the clear coat/chipping on the passenger side mirror, that takes a low sun. Remember this is a near 21 year old truck, there may be some very minor scratches, wear not discussed in detail etc, but they are well below any expectation level for FJ or cars of this year. -TIRESFronts and rears have 95% tread left and are wonderful condition with NO leaks: -HEADLINER Headliner looks fantastic! No sagging -CARPETBeautiful carpet in the truck! It has been shampooed and cleaned as part of the overall detail. -DASHBOARD Shiny surfaces with no cracks. -POWER SEATSAll power seat functions work perfect! -POWER WINDOWSAll windows work smooth and quickly! -AC/HEATAC is arctic cold and heat is earth core hot! -CARGO AREARear carpet is fantastic with only minor signs of use. Everything on the car is ORIGINAL with the VIN# matching The Wrap Up Feel free to ask me any questions at all. That really means it came in one of two colors, either antique sage pearl or emerald green so to make correction, this truck is the antique sage pearl which makes it super rear. It also has the badges powder coated in pearl. It also was the only year and style to have the two tone seats, and production number badges on the center console. As I was saying this is one of those very limited and very rare versions not to mention it has the differential locker control
