1980 big 10 short bed 350 v8 auto all original with less than 18,000 miles.i purchased this truck a few years back and said it would never be for sale.well things have changed so I guess never say never.this is by far the cleanest original 1980 truck I've ever seen.when I purchased this truck 4 years ago it had 7500 miles on it.the lady I bought it from inherited it from her father he purchased the truck drove it a year and a half and sadly passed away.she held on to the truck for years as she couldn' bring herself to part with it.it Sat under a awning at her house for several years she would start it occasionally and drive it around the block.when I acquired the truck it had original belts and hoses.the dash had cracks but i could tell it was original as the door panels were faded all the vents were nice and tight.once I got the truck home I replaced the door panels ,ordered a cover for the dash to keep from further damaging it.i also replaced the spark plugs,changed the oil and replaced the belts and hoses.i also upgraded the a/c compressor now uses 134a .I replaced the radiator last year.i also installed a bel-tech suspension dropped 4" front 6" in the rear.rides like it was never lowered.i also purchased new 18" wheels and tires for the front and a 22" wheel and tire for the rear.the bed was repainted at some point because the clear is beginning to peel.the front appears to be a single stage paint and in original condition. I had my painter add the gold leafing on the door i am not a dealer i just love old cars and thought it would make a cool shop truck . inside the bed appears to have never had anything in it.it is in amazing condition. I would drive this truck across the United States today it is very dependable.i am very confident you could fly in from anywhere and drive this to your home.my plans with this truck was to enjoy it until it needed restored.i was going to pull the engine rebuild it and repaint it then leave it to one of my kids.still has original spare appears to have never been on the ground.absolutely no rust underneath is very clean and original.still has catalytic converter and factor exhaust.
