2009 Trigger GoCar for Sale: DOES RUN BUT NOT GREAT, Sold As Is This 2009 Trigger GoCar is a great and fun vehicle that we are releasing from our rental fleet. It does start but had laid idle since July 2017. It likely lacks power due to valve guides being off and also could use a fuel pump to get fuel to carb easier. The Triggers have fuel tank up front by passenger and the fuel pump is weak such that fuel does not get to carb as efficiently for best power. The old 2 stroke configuration would take crank pressure to power the fuel pump. The 4 –stroke does not have enough crank pressure, so fuel pump is weak. An enthusiast might like to install an electrical powered fuel pump to boost power. We ran it just fine in SF for GoCAR Tours using current fuel pump. It will need a simple service to start and run. It is known in our fleet as Car 72. Features GoCAR has a 50CC Piaggio 4-stroke LX-50 engine – (two valves)-- a great engine and very easy to get cheap spare parts for it. Any scooter mechanic can work on these vehicles. The vehicle is registered as a moped (motor-driven cycle in CA), requires just a standard driver's license to operate in CA and gets over 60 miles per gallon. The vehicle would be perfect for Burning Man or a fun runabout in a gated community. You can install new top-end and boost power to 70-90cc. Any scooter mechanic can assist you on that project Top speed is 30-35mph when fully serviced and operable. Kits are available for sale to hop up the power. The vehicle has speakers and a radio/CD player. This vehicle is ideal for an enthusiast. It has high mileage most likely in the 30,000 - 45,000 mile range (odometer, which was replaced due to the odometer being prone to malfunction can understate miles.) This vehicle is being sold as-is. Its been working in our fleet since 2009. It has been working in our fleet. The kick starter has been removed. We did not use it as customers break vehicle when they use it. We do not have the kick start any longer The car fits on bed of a pick up truck. Some parts are discontinued – indicators, rear lamp housings, wheel rims.
