Offered for sale is a genuine 1961 Bugeye Sprite. This vehicle is nearly complete and ready for a total restoration. It has been sitting since 1980 in indoor storage. It needs paint, as the older paint is peeling and has rust showing in various spots. The car has good A Pillars, rocker panels and footwell panels, even though these are the usual rusty areas. Check out the photo's carefully. The engine does not run and the car is not driveable. It does not have a front bumper and heater, as these were optional at the time. Good windshield and good core windscreens included. The car is currently registered and titled in Tennessee in the seller's name. This car is being sold AS-IS and Where-Is with no warranty. Buyer will arrange for pickup and shipping. Note- This car is a good base for a restoration, since it has been unmolested since the shag carpet was installed and the car painted in the 1970's. I checked underside of the car today and discovered that it is rusty. It will require new floor pans. Spring pockets are intact but there is rust adjacent to the spring mounts.
