Vehicle Detail

Rare, Canadian Pontiac Trans-am, Y85 Recaro seats, Daytona Pace car. 1 of 2000 built.Only 46,800kms! Pontiac Historical Services Documented.Clean title. 4.9L Turbo (highest horse power engine option in 1981 and the last year of the Pontiac engine block)Automatic transmissionFactory A/CFactory emissions delete! (none of the horse power robbing emissions junk that came on the U.S.A cars)TiltCruiseRear defrostBlock Heater (Canadian option)soft ray glasspower lockspower antennaSpeedo in KMS (Canadian option) 3 owner Alberta Car. One repaint. This car was heavily optioned by it's first owner in Alberta Canada as her summer car. When she passed away It was sold to a B.C resident who had it repainted and held the car for long time.It was eventually sold to a 3rd owner/collector in 2015. He had it inspected and licensed in 2016. I purchased the car this year along with another car from the previous owner's private collection. I have not had to do anything with the car other then put it in my storage/collection and will be selling it "as-as" the way I recieved it. Everything works as it should but given it's age it is not to be considered restored or concours condition. The older repaint shows well with only one small blister on the passenger side bottom front fender in front of door jam. (nothing major but should be noted and could be done later on in life to make it perfect.)The floors appear original, dry and rust free. This would lead me to believe the fenders and rockers prior to repaint were also in equally good condition as the floors are really nice. As an Alberta car, the body is typically expected to be as such. Mechanically the engine and transmission appear to have never been out of the car and never restored, especially given the low mileage. Apart from the age of seals and gaskets, the motor and transmission operate as they should and I would have no concerns about driving this car across country. The suspension and bushings are old and original to the car which is also not uncommon on a low mile example. They are functional but would benefit from new polyurethane units. The brakes are good/inspected and the wheels are in excellent condition. The exhaust appears to be original and would also benefit with an upgrade to be perfect. Included with the car is a cover, original T-top bags, original jack, original spare, original radio, two sets of original keys and books/manuals. The car runs and drives nice, has new tires and would make an excellent driver for somebody looking to get into a great value classic trans-am investment. This car is ready for a new owner and to be entered in F-body pace car registry. Priced for quick sale. You will not find a better trans-am for under $20k in Canada.Rare opportunity to have a low mile canadian trans-am pace car! The car is located in Burnaby B.C CANADA. GST is applicable on sale. Inspections are welcome. On 28-Nov-17 at 01:46:24 EST, seller added the following information: I can assist buyer with shipping using a carrier of their choice.Car will need to be moved prior to December 15th. I can assist USA buyers with anything they require for customs for crossing the border.
