This 2002 Mercury Sable LS is a great find! It runs great and the original engine has only 61,270 miles! Being sold AS-IS. This has been a second car for us for a couple of years and its gotten very little use lately, so I've decided to pass it on. I'm starting a new business and need the startup capital more than the car. Pros: Only 61,270 miles on original engine!Starts immediately and runs great.Never been in an accident.No major dent or dings to body panels. Leather interior is in decent shape overall. Power windows, locks and driver's seatCoolant system hoses replaced 6 months ago.Received regular oil changes while I've owned it. Very comfortable, nice to drive.Great first car or grocery-getter. OKsDecent brakes, squeaky at first due to little use lately.Decent tires, probably about half the original tread left.In working, driving order and road safe right now.Probably due for an oil change sooner than later. Cons:Paint is faded in spots, clear is gone in some places. (see photo)Passenger's side mirror housing is busted, currently held on car with duct tape. (see photos) Part of driver's seat framing sticks though leather (see photo)Driver's door panel missing a piece of upholstery, same piece peeling from other doors (see photo)There is a large scratch on the windshield, though it does distort driver's view. (see photo)Electrics need attention: power door locks randomly flip (door latch detection issue)Auto feature on headlights no longer works (lights will stay on)...you must turn them on and off at this point to avoid draining the battery in the Auto setting.Dome light sometimes stays on (related to door latch detection issue above)Tires need to be balanced, excessive road noise at certain speeds.Suspension is pretty soft at this point, could be replaced, but still very drivable. I have a clear paper title in hand. On Nov-18-17 at 13:44:08 PST, seller added the following information: I listed the wrong engine size by mistake; the vehicle report is correct. The correct engine is the 3.0L DOHC 24 Valve V6 with EFI. There is a typo above. It should say the scratch in the windshield "does not" distort the drivers view. It's on the passenger's side.
