The listing on our 2010 Prius closed one week ago, but the high bidder defaulted on the purchase, so we are relisting our car. The Carfax shows two issues with regard to this vehicle: The first issue was an animal strike in April of 2013. We purchased a car in August of 2013 and we have been driving it ever since, with few issues other than annual maintenance. The car has performed as advertised by the manufacturer, gas mileage 42 to 46 mpg, depending on the weather. The second issue was the title... There is no issue with the title. We have the title (no liens) and it is a standard title, not salvage, rebuilt, flood, etc.Oil changes are 3-4000 miles. New headlamps at last oil change. We use the same repair shop for both of our Priuses (2010 & 2008) so they are able to keep track of any and all issues regarding maintenance. At the last oil change in October the shop said the horn was working intermittently. This issue has not been addressed as of this date. This is my wife's car and she drives 15-18k per year. I have a 2008 and we are quite happy with the performance and economy of both automobiles, however some parts can be quite expensive, i.e. high intensity headlights for 2008 model were $266@ as opposed to a nominal charge ($40?) for normal headlights on the 2010 model. If you have not owned a Prius you can look forward to great gas mileage and economy. The car drives nicely and we have been told by others that they go to a quarter of a million miles. We have 175000 on the 2008.
