Up for auction is this 1971 Triumph T150 Trident. The overall mechanical and cosmetic condition of this 46 year old bike is 'good'. It has matching frame and engine serial numbers. Purchased from a dealer that had the bike on consignment in 2013, it has been a work-in-progress to replace worn or incorrect parts. Pictures 1 thru 9 were taken 2 years ago. Picture 10 was recently taken showing 1,997 miles ridden since a new speedometer was installed at the time of purchase. The original speedo on the bike at the time of purchase showed 6,789 miles. Since these pictures were taken, the following items have been replaced: 3 new Amal 6 series concentric carburetors (Air controls/choke slides installed/functional.) New production OEM Dunlop K81 tires front and rear. New Tri-Spark solid state ignition system (box under seat). 3 new 12v. PVL ignition coils. The gas tank was repainted and coated. Since acquired, only non-ethanol fuel has been used. It is a good running bike and has been ridden weekly on an 18 to 20 mile loop to keep it in good working order. In addition to the routine rides, it has been ridden to vintage bike club meetings and events. Extra parts will be provided (new knee pads, oil filter, manuals, etc.). The bike is located in Knoxville, TN 37922 A $500 dollar PayPal deposit is required and payable within 2 days of the close of the auction. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance of the final purchase price is due within 7 days of the close of the auction. The ONLY acceptable means of final payment are bank wire transfer (preferred) or a Cashiers Check.
