Resisted as previous buyer did not pay deposit. I'm putting this at the lowest I'll take for it. Considering it's KBB value and fact I've spent over $3k on new AC, tires, service etc this is a solid buy. 2003 AMG SL 55 Mercedes. Clean title and inspection until May 2018. I'll try and make this as comprehensive as I can but happy to answer any questions. I have a link below to over 120 pictures and also have video etc of it running too if you'd like to see that. The AMG is an awesome car - top speed just shy of 200mph with a hand built and stamped AMG engine. Great attention to detail including Mercedes caps on tyre valves. I've had this vehicle for just over 2 years. It has been my third/fourth spare car - so driven seldom and mainly for beautiful summer days! I've done less than 7,000 miles in it and half of that was a road trip to Austin. For a comprehensive set of pictures of just about everything GO HERE I'm selling as I've moved to a property at the top of a steep hill and need more space for 4x4 vehicles for the winter. It has always been garaged and for the last four months stored/not used. Comes with two keys. Over the past two years I've had the following work done on the car: (last 3 months) x4 brand new tires (they are under warranty and have less than 20 miles on them). The tires are 19inch (standard is 18). Brand new air conditioner - this failed when I did my road trip to Austin so a brand new unit is now in place and blows freezing cold air. Less than 2 hours of use. New Upper Idler Pulley (these usually fail around the 100k mark and mine was a little loose so that was replaced). New O-rings - there was a minor fluid leak on ABC pump which was fixed Just three months ago I also had a full ($600) Mercedes service done on the car including all new fluids, batteries to remotes, wipers, new filter, fuel additive etc. New Brakes New Batteries The car runs and drives great. There are no issues whatsoever. This is an incredible car to drive. Comes with multi CD changer plus I also have the AUX lead which you connect your iphone or Android to. I don't have the navigational DVD as I've always used Google Maps etc. Even comes with the original Motorola phone that came standard with the car. As mentioned above, whilst I've had the car, I also had brand new batteries installed (there are two - one in front for engine and one in rear for electronic like the roof etc) so they are all very new and under warranty. Electric roof works including roll bar which can also be placed up or down. Comes with manuals etc - this was a very high end car when produced and has advanced systems for its age including voice control, seat warmer, massager etc. The seats are in good condition - some light wear and tear as per pictures. Comes with AMG car mats and carpeting throughout is in good condition. Again, being 100% transparent - these are the things I know to highlight: The passenger seat has never moved forward or back since I bought it. It reclines etc but I've honestly never bothered to have it fixed as the position is fine. Also when you start the car the message 'Brakes' 'Visit Workshop' appears on the dash computer (this is blue, not a red warning light). Which you simply turn off when you toggle the screen. I've had breaks checked (by Mercedes) and new brakes installed and there is no issue. With these cars the electronics can be a little sensitive and I've been told it's probably a sensor that needs to be replaced. Given the car is 14 years and so some little chips etc on paint as you can see in the pictures and would expect. There's a few places where up close the previous owner didn't do the best chip repair but as you can see in the pictures this looks beautiful. The car is currently under covers up in the Catskills so happy to show if you are local. At the end of auction a $500 deposit is required immediately and then payment of the balance within seven days.
