Bought this truck a couple years ago , and it’s been a great truck. The only thing I’ve ever had go wrong with it is I had to have the intake gasket replaced 6 months ago. I heard that’s about the only problem you will get out of the 4.3 vortec. Runs and drives great. Problems are as follows. Crack in the windshield, very little rust on cab corners, and last year at 130,000 miles the odometer stopped working. I’m the second owner and bought it with 120,000 on it. I’ve put around 15,000 on it since it stopped so it has 145,000 on it I’d say. There is also a dent where something smacked the rear window frame down low. So you get a little whistle noise from a small gap in rear window. It’s never bothered me and it doesn’t let any water in. There is a couple stains where something spilled in the bed, but it’s a work truck bed. Gives it character. I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere. It has the 8’ bed, and the tires were purchased last year. They have lots of life left.
