It's one wheel away from being a car and it's missing doors and a roof, but the 2015 Polaris Slingshot still has plenty to be excited about. Like the Morgan 3 Wheeler and Campagna T-Rex, the 2015 Slingshot has two wheels up front with a lone wheel out back. Engine: 2.4-liter Ecotec I-4 mounted up front makes 173 hp and 166 lb-ft torque and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheel. Polaris doesn't provide performance estimates, but the Ecotec doesn't have much to lug around with the Polaris weighing in at just 1725 pounds for the base model and 1743 pounds for the Slingshot XL.Despite its three-wheel layout, the Slingshot should be relatively planted thanks to its wide track of 69.1 inches and super-low ride height of just 5 inches. It is fast, fun, and will turn more heads than any Camaro, Corvette, Mustang, or foreign exotic, at a fraction of the price. I have taken it on long road trips comfortably, and have enjoyed owning this more than any other vehicle. I am selling because our family is getting a little bigger, and It only fits two people. Looking for something with a small back seat we can pop the kiddos into when they are a little older.
