MOTOR HAS CAM PHASER ISSUES. 221,293 miles on truck Hankook Dynapro 275/65/18 ATM have over 50% tread I purchased the truck for parts but decided the truck is too nice to do that with. Truck has remote start, leather, power sunroof, power rear window, lariat package, remote start, tilt, cruise, auto mirror, power mirrors, tonneau cover, tow package, adjustable peddles, 6 disc factory stereo......the truck is well optioned. Mechanical...last 2 years and 25000 miles, new brakes, tires, front struts, rear shocks, rebuilt the transmission, fluids all changed, cam phasers replaced with timing chains. Truck drives nice and everything works as it should with the exception of the cruise control buttons act like they had pop spilled in them, they still work. The bad is something went wrong with the cam phaser on the left bank. the truck still runs but when the oil temp gets up to operating temperature there is a lot of noise coming from the cam phaser area. the dipstick does not have any metal showing in the oil. A new crate motor with 100000 mile warrantee can be installed for $3500 which would give someone a very dependable truck or you could go in and fix the phaser issue. The truck does have rust in the front fender heals and the rear cab corners. the box looks solid and no bubbles on the paint. The interior is extremely dirty. leather on council storage door is cracked and there is light damage to the passenger side of the box in front of the rear wheel "pictured", More photos available or if you want a specific photo ask please.
