Vehicle Detail
This is Jaguars top of the line model which had a sticker price on close to $100,000 back in 2004 and it is a truly amazing car with every possible option including factory chrome wheels, rear multimedia and a rare adaptive cruise control that just about drives the car for you however sadly the car’s engine has developed an unusual noise which will need to be repaired. It is a California car that I purchased in July of last year from a fellow Jag enthusiast before having it transported to Rhode Island and if I remember correctly I am the third owner. As I recall the car has no accident history and it will be sold with a clean RI title. I have only put 6,300 miles on the car since purchasing it however the car was purchased as another spare / weekend car and at this point I don’t have the time or motivation to do the repairs so my loss is your gain. I would not recommend driving the car with its current issue but the car does start and run perfectly with no engine noise until it begins to warm up... after it warms up you can accelerate and it’s fine with no noise however if you let off the gas quickly the car makes a loud raspy knocking sound which seems to be the loudest coming through the exhaust... if you take your foot off the gas slowly you don’t hear the noise??? There are no faults or check engine lights showing and in the last year the car has received new red stuff ceramic brakes pads all around, new upper control arms, alignment and new spark plugs... This car is way to nice to leave it sitting in the garage until I have the time to get to it... Low starting bid with no reserve means that someone is going to get a great deal!
