1978 BMW R100S with 12635 original miles. 3rd owner. Very original condition. This motorcycle was sitting for a number of years when I purchased it. This motorcycle has been completely gone through and is very road worthy and ready to ride. All repair work is listed below. The motorcycle has original paint on the gas tank and rear seat cowl. The front fender and front fairing have been repainted with original Glasurit paint color from Germany, due to extreme color fading. The gas tank has some scratches due to age and the use of a tank bag. - New front and rear Metzeler tires.- New battery- New spark plugs, breaker points, & condenser.- Complete tune-up & full service done by Max BMW- Both carburetors we’re rebuilt and new floats installed.- All fluids changed including fork & brake fluid.- New fuel line and fuel filters.- New manifold rubber tubes.- Front & rear brake calipers rebuilt, and new brake pads installed.- New clear windscreen.- New handgrips & rubber foot rests replaced.
