For your consideration is this absolutely stunning 1971 CB450 with only 7794 miles on her. Bike will make a nice addition to any vintage collector. Or a nice ride for someone who would like to have the coolest bike in the crowd. Bike was purchased from a 90 year old man who had quite a collection of vehicles and was just starting to part with them. He had this bike in dry storage with the fuel drained from the tank and carbs, and a thin sheen of oil protecting the paint and chrome. However he did leave the brake fluid in the bike which turned bad. Therefore I rebuilt the master cylinder and caliper and also had to replace the brake hoses. A new battery was installed as well as a new petcock. He pulled the old one off to drain the gas and misplaced it. Inside of the tank is clean. The bike starts, runs and idles with no smoke or unusual noises. The transmission shifts smoothly with the clutch grabbing properly. The bike runs very well and is an extremely fun machine. Brakes work great. All lights, instruments and horn work as well. Tires have plenty of tread and hold air with minor dry rot, but you would probably want to change them before you take it to the track. Chrome is in very good shape with no pitting. Paint is very good except for some minor chips and scratches that are pictured. Saddle is in great shape except for a small 2 inch seam that is starting to pull, not split yet but should be addressed by the new owner. Original toolkit is present, owners manual is not.
