This civic was purchase as a project since the car had rear impact and was purchased as a salvage vehicle. The body was fix but the car needs a tuning job. I have put alot money in the car already and I am selling as AS-IS. I am ready to pass down the project to someone who might have more time and knows of place that can tune this car. AWESOME DEAL FOR THIS CIVIC SI MILES ARE ORIGINAL AND HAS VERY EXPENSIVE PARTS. I bought car back in 09/25/2015 from Tampa, Florida through Copart Auto Auctions, I have Receipts if need be of Original envoice with shipping and auctions fees Totaling $3,608.00; That was before I had the rear quarter panel fixed and painted. My reserve price is not less than 3k nor More than $3,608.00, so please do not ask my reserve. The vehicle turns on but eventually chokes the sending unit is sending to much fuel to the engine. This is what it seems to me anyway. I have taken the car to local mechanic his diagnostic was that the car needs tuning job but they do not have the equipment to do so. A great opportunity for some to get a low mileage Honda Civic SI with great expensive parts put in already. I will try to answer any questions to the best of my ability but I am not a mechanic. Since last time i had this car on ebay alot of people ask me about the computer, I have place a photo with the serial to help. This car has very low reserve on it, so bid to own. Once again the car will need to be tow or transported it runs and drives for about two miles and or 15 minutes and then it chokes and turns off. You can wait 15 to 20 minutes and the car will turn on again and the cycle will repeat itself. The check engine light will turn on after several minutes running the code it has is dealing with air flow meter that deals with air and fuel ratio P1164. Another possible scenario the original owner pulled the tuned computer or it was stolen at the auction and someone will need a new computer. I am guessing here not 100% Sure.
