I'm selling my 2006 Mercedes SLK55 AMD with about 103k miles. The car is in great condition and has always been garaged in the four years I've owned it. It has a black exterior, black interior, leather heated seats w/ air scarf, multi-disc cd changer, dual auto climate controls. The 5.4L V8 engine was hand built by a single craftsman at AMG. His signature is on the engine. While SLKs are fairly common, the SLK55 AMG version is very rare. This is quite a special car! It's VERY fast, handles like it's on rails, and is a true joy to drive especially on some curvy roads. Make no mistake, this is a fast, high performance sports car! The car will be available for car transport pickup any day of the week if you're not local. A few more details:The car has a NEW hydraulic cylinder for the top's latch mechanism as of about 5,000 miles ago. It was slightly leaking so I replaced it. Works perfectly.Some of the buttons on the radio work intermittently. I never had issues since I used the multi-disc CD changer all the time for music.Three weeks ago I took it to the body shop to have a few paint dings and a crack in the front fascia/bumper cover repaired. The shop replaced the entire cover and grill insert with new genuine Mercedes SLK55 parts so you get a PERFECT front bumper with no rock dings, scratches or chips. No used or aftermarket parts here. This cost around $3000 for the parts and labor & I have the receipt. It's gorgeous.
