Saab 9-7X 5.3i for sale!!! This is a well kept Ca. SUV with 167,200 Ca. milage. My son was the second owner as this vehicle and has kept it in good running shape with Mobile 1 oil and a few extras like the Wifi radio, there are two problems he mentioned need attention the radio dvd will not load and the moonroof is temporary disconnected to replace a plastic pull tab that cracked while opening. This is all that I know that needs attention but there are a few new part he did put in recently when the car went in for service at 150k miles. Part's replaced : Rear air bags, rear Suspension Front Ball Joint Tie Rods, Bushings, Front lower control arms. The brakes are at 60% and the tires are about 70%. I am not a mechanic and can only give my opinion but it's a very nice SUV and really comfortable, my son has left me to sell the SUV for him as he took a job overseas. I have put a low reserve to get it a new home, please feel free to set up a test drive if your truly interested in this Saab. The 9-7X's basic formula is the same as that of other GM versions, including its powertrain choices: There's a 300-hp, 5.3-liter pushrod V-8 tested here (the 5.3i), as well as a 291-hp, 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six (the 4.2i), both with the venerable and sometimes harsh-shifting four-speed automatic. Many other mechanicals-suspension, steering, and brakes - were tweaked with an intent to reform some of the inherent truckiness of the body-on-frame, solid-rear-axle platform. Head on, the 9-7X does a pretty decent impersonation of a Saab. Even parked next to another Saab, the well-integrated trapezoidal grille fits right in. Around the side are Saab-only 20-inch wheels.
