1997 Volkswagen EuroVan Camper: Having settled down on the Oregon Coast and I am ready to sell my beloved customized 1997 Eurovan camper. Extremely clean and mechanically sound, with 155, 355 miles. Besides the well-designed VW van and Winnebago conversion features, the following options have been added and maintained: Interior: *Customized with more comfortable captain's bed and extra storage (8.5 cu. ft.), with two hardwood drawers, slider hardware, tongue and groove corners and wooden locking buttons *Removable Kenmore 6 CD player with additional two speakers in camper *Birch veneer plywood floating floor installed*Inverter for optional AC/DC voltage*New hydraulic struts on pop top*Window coverings throughout, including wraparound for cab windshield and side windows*Recently reserviced Norcold refrigerator Exterior:*SideWinderII awning in excellent shape *The pop top canvas is clean, with minor tape repair on one screen and minimal stains*Towing receptacle for hitch*Tires have good tread (over 1/4 inch), only approx. 7K use*New windshield Mechanical:*VR6 motor with automatic transmission, shifts very smoothly, never a problem *Cruise control mechanism has been rebuilt/strengthened to last*Recent trip from northern ID to southern OR including camping on forest service roads and 2 mountain passes, averaged 19.5 mpg*Well maintained and loved, have all repair records since 2003*A pleasure to drive and to call home! The camper/van conversion includes: *Front 2 bucket seats swivel to face rear *2 slide mounted tables *LP gas tank size(25 lbs/5.9 gal.) at full cap. (20 lbs/ 4.7 gal.) *2 burner propane range top *Norcold refrigerator (2 cu. ft.) runs on propane, electric (110 volt from outside source only), or engine battery (12 volt) *12-volt water pump supplies fresh water from 12 gallon tank to sink powered faucet and to a rear convenience sprayer. Sink has an 8 gallon waste water holding tank. *Auxillary battery for 12 volt use when camper is not on outside hook up, then recharged by engine battery when driving or by outside hook up. We have installed an inverter which enables 110 volt without outside hook up. *Monitor panel which displays the auxiliary battery condition, the levels in the propane tank, and the fresh and waste water tanks *Complete surround window coverings for privacy *Skylight which keeps inside quite cool with lower side window opened (both screened). Pop up top has 3 sides with screened windows that have zippered covers. *Cabinets include a medicine cabinet with mirror on door with drawer below, another large bin, a closet with cubbyholes and hangar space, and 3 level shelving next to sink. *More storage accessed from rear door
