Up for bids is this pretty nice 79 ford truck. This is a SWB truck a guy had started working on and never fininshed it. It would be a really easy project to finish and drive. It would make a fun toy. The truck is overall very solid. You don't see many of these old trucks left that are worth anything but this one is overall pretty decent. It has a decent paint job on it. I am going to call it driver quality because it was painted a few years ago and has some spots on it that are not perfect. There is really no visible rust on it. Someone patched a few spots on the floor and that only other visible rust was where the bottom of the bed connects with the verticle front part of the bed. You can see where it is in the picture but it appears that someone cleaned it and killed it. You could spray some bedliner in it or something like that to fill it in if you want to. The motor is good in it. It has a very expensive carburetor on it. The motor has a small cam in it. The motor runs great. I have driven it up and down the street but thats about it. Transmission shifts out and brakes work fine. The interior will need to be finished. It will need a floor mat, head liner, and seat cover. I have nice door panels that can be painted to which ever color you want and used. I have not driven trunk long distance so I will highly recomment picking it up on a trailer till you have time to check it out real good before driving it much. I am selling this as a project whick means it needs work. Not much work but needs some. I took pics of the parts that go with it.
