1979 BMW R100 Café Project Here’s a rare opportunity to buy a custom café project that has had many, many custom fabricated parts and pieces. Most all of the fabrication is compete and only bolt on parts and pieces are needed to complete. Paint, powder coat, wire it and fire it up! The project began as a complete 1979 R100RT in perfect running condition. It was taken completely apart and the custom support for the AirTech fairing and the custom rear seat clip were fabricated. The fairing is attached with Dzus ¼ turn fasteners for quick removal. The seat pod has a custom fab’d forward hinge that allows access to the compartment underneath that will hold the battery and M-Unit fuse block. Stock seat latch/lock utilizing the factory key is still in place. Stock BMW swingarm had a brace installed and has already been powder coated. The stock BMW tank is perfect shape and just needs to be primed and painted. Custom billet clip-on bars, powder coated black and custom billet adjustable levers/front brake reservoir. Custom 2 into 1 racing exhaust. VERY expensive Oshmo billet rear set pegs/controls are installed. The motor is in perfect shape and the heads have been gone through and cleaned. Clean title, matching numbers (frame, motor, title). I’ve put TONS of fabrication time in this project! Unfortunately I have other projects that need completed soon and I need the funds to finish those. The reserve is REALLY low! You can buy this, compete it and have a $8-10K bike for THOUSANDS less!!
