I relisting this car because of non paying bidder. I am listing this car for my sister. This was her late husbands car which he got for his 50th birthday over 20 years ago. The car was registered to him from 96-02 He used and enjoyed the car up until he became sick with MS. It was inspected on 9-18-2000 with 28,017 miles. This year my sister decided to do something with the car and put it back on the rode this year. I took the car went through the fuel system got the car running again, Went through the brake system got a rebuilt Hydrovac Master new lines and wheel cylinders in the front. The rear brakes were fine but I do have the new parts I didn't use. I replaced the fuse box and also replaced wiring in the steering column and got all the lights working correctly. My sister registered the car on 7/11/17 and I got it inspected for her on 7/25/17 with 28,198 miles. I had told her she should get new tires and an alignment. The car sat for 2 months and now she decided to sell the car. The car has PS + PB it retains the drum brakes doth F+R. Has a one piece California front bumper and the Cali seamless frame and padded dash. This car was painted before my brother-in-law purchased it so I would say the paint and bias-ply tires are 25+ years old. The car runs and drives but I drive it like a 60 year old car and not a Hot Rod. I will be adding more pics of the car and undercarriage as soon as possibly. Car is for sale local and I may end listing at anytime. I am self employed and only work 10 minutes away, I shipped my sons car to Florida and a 12 car carrier showed up plenty of room. Car remains registered and insured. Things I would like to add the PS and PB appear to be factory, engine has cast iron intake with what looks like an Eldelbrock 4 barrel carb engine still has points no HEI. Car has working air shocks in rear. While I had the car on the lift I noticed the car may have had a standard trans with a floor shift at one time. Now has cast iron powerglide and it looks like the trans cross member was changed and or welded in. The underside looks nice to me , as I have lived in New England my hole life and have mostly seen rot boxes. Not sure if it shows in the pics but the floor has had patches welded in a couple of spots. The inner rocker panels looked good but those pics didn't come out that good because of lighting. The new registration and title are in my sisters name. $500 depo to me balance to her will text copies of reg , title and her check that shows her bank info. If you show up with cash that cool that works too. Hopefully car goes to a good home and gets enjoyed. If not sold will probable relist in Spring . By then people who lost classic cars in floods in Texas and Florida will have their insurance checks by then and nice cars will be in high demand.
