This 1937 Studebaker Coupe Express has a life history entirely in California. It was built at the short lived and long ago demolished Studebaker California assembly plant. It is being offered by the Third Owner/ Care taker located in Northern California. According to photographic documentation this beauty was a one time a first place winner a numerous automotive Rallys and Car shows within the San Francisco Bay Area Many long hours culminating in quality recent repairs have made this example a daily driver. Recent Upgrades / Maintenance are as follows: 1. New set of Gel filled Firestone tires with 3 in. White walls 2. Tires mounted on a set of freshly painted desireable 1936 artillary wheels complete with matching size hub caps. 3. Complete braking system rebuild including new wheel cylinders, rebuilt master cylinder, new brake shoes all around and drums turned. Hill hugger unit was also rebuilt. 4. New head gasket installed under recently serviced head. 5. All electrical is in working orDer including charging system, head lights, tail/ brake light, rear license plate light, 6 volt electrical fuel pump. 6. Fresh points, rotor , distributer cap, plug wires, plugs. 7. Freshly lubed, oil chaneed and radiator flushed. 8. New radiator coolant , radiator hoses, and thermostat. 9. New fan belt. The Cashe' of extra parts are as follows 1. Original NOS rear view mirror. 2. Original NOS Glove box door complete with matching key and lock. 3. Original NOS Complete set of fully operational gauges. 4. 1 original NOS head light housing. 5. 2 original NOS headlight lenses. 6. Original NOS rubber pedal pad set. 7. 2 original NOS horn buttons complete with spring and spacer clip. 8. Complete original to vehicle when manufactured set of steel wheels. Many Many More......
