I’ve owned many sport bikes, including a 2015 R6, and this has always been my favorite. A great bike! When this model was released in 2008, it was a completely re-worked bike and blew the other brands away, as well as the previous CB. In 2008 it was chosen Bike of the Year. 4 years later when Honda released the new 1000RR, it had just cosmetic updates, and again the magazines listed it as the top liter bike. Awesome bike! I am an engineer, so needless to say I am rather meticulous with things I own. This bike has been well cared for. In fact, it still has the original battery in it! This bike is tuned to perfection, and runs great. It has never been down. It has no dents, chips, cracks or scratches. The only flaw is the right engine cover (see close up picture) has an area that the black paint was scraped. This happened at the dealership prior to me purchasing the bike. The metal is not scratched, and wasn’t a big deal to me so I still bought it. Yes, I am the original and only owner. It's always been garaged. I have always used full synthetic oil and oem filters. I installed an oil filter relocater, which makes changing the oil and filter very simple. The Pirelli tires have only 230 miles on them. I am so confident of the condition, state of tune, and reliability of this bike, I will warrant it for 30 days! I do have this listed for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction if sold.On Oct-07-17 at 06:49:07 PDT, seller added the following information: An Update to my listing:1) As I was gathering up all OEM parts, title, and manuals in anticipation of the auction ending tomorrow (yes, this is selling tomorrow as the reserve price is within a few hundred of the current bid, so the reserve will be hit; it's also well below the NADA price), I realized 2 parts that are installed that I did not listed. -Bazzaz Z-Bomb, which eliminates the 'de-tunning' of horsepower that the Honda Factory programmed into the US model CBR. I've added a picture of the manual, which provides more detail information as well as a dyno chart of the Bazzaz CBR showing the before and after curves of the just the Z-Bomb (no pipe or EMS). This makes for a much smoother curve. Also, look at all that torque, especially mid-range, which the CBR is known for. Torque is what makes a powerful bike more rideable, as well as better drive out of corners. It also allows you to very quickly pass cars without the need to downshift. -A LED Flasher, so that the front and rear turn signals flash at the normal (oem) rate. If not installed, the lower resistance of the LED's will cause the signals to flash very quickly. 2) I noticed on my title that I purchased this bike, brand new, Nov 2009. 3) In addition to the OEM manual and Honda Shop Manual, I also have all the user manuals for the after market parts listed above.
