1999 Ford Taurus SHO This Ford Taurus SHO has spent its entire life in the south, mainly in Texas and Florida. Was in Texas from 2000 - 2005 and then in Florida from 2005 until 2015 where it came here to illinois and sat in a garage. This car is a beautiful of a rust free SHO. The body and undercarriage of the car look great, but does have a few little cosmentic blemishes here and there on the exterior mainly being a couple small paint chips and a few little scratches/scuffs. Could easily be detailed by a professional to make her really shine. Other then that the car shows well and sounds great. She has literally sat for the last 2 years in a garage not even driven but periodically started and ran for about 10mins so that everything stayed good. Could use some fresh gas since it goes bad after a month or two, and probably a simple tune-up since we haven't done one since coming to illinois. The interior of the car is a little tired in my opinion. The seats are amazingly comfortable and feel great on both in-town driving and out of town driving. However like all cars typically do, the drivers side bolster is worn out. The odometer cluster had a couple burnt out bulbs, and was taken out to install new bulbs. When reinstalled it never quite lined up right again. The rest of the interior is dirty, but could clean up easily and look good. The car is a v8 Front wheel drive car. It sounds amazing. I absolutely love the sound of the exhaust on this car and have never heard another v8 sound like it at all. The car is mainly all stock but has always had synthetic oil changes. Has Mach 1 stereo with 6 disc cd changer. The camshafts have been welded (known defect that if not addressed will cause major issues). It also has upgraded headlights with HID bulbs. The engine is healthy and feels good while driving. This car is a complete sleeper and is funny when people realize it is a v8 ford taurus. So few people really know what these are and for being a taurus its a blast to drive.
