Vehicle Detail

This Pantera is the culmination of over 10 years of restoration and enhancements. Starting with a rust and accident free car, the following was performed: Paint and bodywork by Rock & Roll Custom Paint Works in Orange County California. The fenders were subtly flared to cover the massive 335/30-18 wheels, metal finished to the highest standards and mirror smooth paint with amazing flame detail. The (pretty much mandatory) cooling ducts it the front bonnet were incorporated with aluminum dress up panels and an upgraded radiator, and a roof scoop and front spoiler were fabricated and installed. JMC Motorsports in San Diego built and installed the 351 Ford V8. It was stroked to 383 c.i. It features ported Victor Jr. aluminum heads O-ringed for bulletproof reliability, roller rocker arms, port matched SVO Victor Jr. intake manifold, custom Ford based direct port injection, high capacity oil pump, full balancing, and a custom Jet Hot coated stainless steel through-the-valance large bore exhaust for an estimated 650 horsepower. SpeedForce Racing in Santee California installed the teflon Aeroquip fuel and oil lines lines, additional oil cooler, rear aluminum undertray, engine cover, billet F&R grilles,a full Brembo big brake kit with red powder coated calipers, and miscellaneous dress up items. The suspension was rebuilt, chromed and polished; chassis stiffeners were fabricated and installed. The wheels are chrome modular Kinesis 18's wrapped with almost new Pirelli P-Zero's. The interior was re-upholstered in the original pattern, with new carpets and Pantera floor mats. Effectively, there is no part of the car that has not been addressed. It runs cool, with staggering power and surprising driveability. The A/C blows ice cold, the ride is firm but not punishing, the steering is direct, and the handling is comparable to a modern supercar. Panteras were originally delivered with many built in shortcomings. This car has had virtually all of those issues handled. Every modification was performed with an eye toward making the fastest, best handling, most gorgeous Pantera possible with no expense spared - and those objectives were achieved. It has less than 500 miles since completion and is in close to perfect shape. To reproduce this car would likely cost over $200K. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. The car is available for inspection in the San Diego area and we will cheerfully coordinate with your mechanic.
