For Sale1963 Mercedes Benz Project Car (estimated 320K miles but it isn't more. It may be less).is complete, however, engine is partially disassembled (head off) and needs at minimum a head gasket replaced as it has sat this way.MB placed a new-rebuilt 220D engine in the car in 1982. So the engine is not original, but has a more modern performing engine in the chassis.This car was my daily driver from 2007 until 2010 when it was placed in garage storage to be restored until recently. It was at that time stripped for repair to the engine, and body work which has not been completed. Please see photos. This car will require work to bring up to a daily driver again, but it isn't a parts car. It has some rust under treatment as all these cars had, but it isn't preventing any body part from being repaired.Interior is old, but fine with no known tears in the seats. It is only for sale as I am now going full-time RV and can no longer store it. There are many manuals and records that accompany this car, including MB Factory repair manual, Old Chilton manuals, etc.
