Up for sale is my 1997 Ford F250 Heavy Duty XLT 4x4 Super Cab with the 7.3 Liter Powerstroke Diesel and 4 speed auto transmission. The truck has just under 185,000 miles and I purchased it from the original owner as a project vehicle. The truck starts right up and runs nice with no check engine light and the transmission and transfer case both work good and shift nice. The truck will need a little work to be put back on the road and I am including some of the parts you will need to complete this truck. The power steering system is not currently operating it needs a new line installed and I am including it with the sale of the truck. The fan shroud is broke from it mounts on the top of the radiator. I am including a replacement fan shroud but it did damage the top plastic tank part of the radiator. I have the broken piece but if it was me I would get another radiator and put it in. The core support on the truck is rusty in the middle under the radiator like most of these truck have a problem with. I am including a rust free core support that I bought from the west coast and new frame mounts for the core support. The core support itself was over $600. I also am including a NOS grille and headlight trim since the chrome on the truck is faded. The interior is very clean and theres no rips or tears inside. The only flaw is theres a crack in the dash pad and I am including a replacement dash pad. I also have a box with extra NOS console trim pieces. The lid on the console doesn't stay latched so theres a new lid too. The mirrors are mix matched and the one is cracked so I have 2 brand new mirrors that go with it. I have NOS rear hub caps that are included with a spare alloy rim to replace the scuffed one on the right rear. The body has minimal rust for the age. The worst is over the right rear wheel opening and the very bottom of the left cab corner is rusted. I also noticed the one rear shock mount is rusted so it will need to be replaced with new rear shocks. With a little work this will be a nice truck. It has been garage kept since I owned it but its been off the road a couple years. I recently bought a crew cab diesel pickup and really no longer need this truck and I have other projects to finish so thats the main reason I am selling this.
