This vehicle is being sold AS-IS. The following is its history and current condition detailed to the best of my knowledge: Vehicle has had one owner (myself) since it was purchased from a dealer in 2010 with +/-12,000 miles on it. It was first used and maintained by the dealership who used it as a test drive vehicle + loaner vehicle. It was in perfect condition at this point. - Interior cosmetic damage in the rear passenger area is the result of a couple hyperactive puppies several years ago. The rest is normal wear and tear of being a daily driver over the span of 8 years. - Rear passenger-side exterior damage was the result of being stopped in city traffic and being hit from behind by another (too close) stopped vehicle who was rear-ended by a careless driver. The damage sustained was purely cosmetic so I chose not to repair it. - Front end damage was the result of being backed into by a vehicle (a pickup truck) at very low speed (5mph). Unfortunately the pickup truck had a trailer receiver + ball which caused more than typical bumper/bumper impact damage. I intended to have that repaired but shortly after this incident, the radiator failed (almost certainly because of the low-speed trailer hitch collision) without warning (i.e. not a slow leak but likely damage resulting in ultimate complete failure). The vehicle was towed to a mechanic who determined the radiator was leaking and the engine almost certainly sustained a blown gasket (water out the exhaust). The vehicle has not been driven except around the block since the radiator failure (6 mos ago). -Vehicle cranks fine with fluid in the radiator but cannot be driven more than a couple minutes before the temperature gauge begins to rise because of low radiator fluid. - No apparent frame or major physical damage from either incident other than cracked plastic/panels. Drives normally as expected from an MDX with 100k miles on it. Has 4x OEM Bridgestone Dueler H/L's in good condition. Tires were always replaced before absolutely necessary as that's important to the MDX's renowned drivability. - Vehicle has been fully cleaned and vacuumed but a full detail would probably be needed to get the various spots/marks out of the interior upholstery (minus the interior rear door puppy damage). In summary, the vehicle needs a new radiator and likely a gasket repair to behave like an MDX should. Probably not a difficult fix for some DIYer with the knowledge and time. The vehicle is not practical for me anymore, thus the sale. Payment via cash or cashier's check only. Local pickup preferred but happy to ship if buyer-arranged. $500.00 deposit due via paypal within 24 hours (unless buyer intends to pick up within that timeframe).
